Tanks were an unusual machine that was first introduced in the first World War. Many of them were failures on the battlefield and many more were not able to achieve its capabilities that it was designed/built for. The origin country this idea started off in was Britain. Winston Churchill created a group of several engineers and scientist to study warfare and the theory of tanks, otherwise known as, "Land-ships", because at that period f time they did not come up with the name tanks. This group of individuals that focused on this one idea of a new warfare weapon were know as the, "Land-ship Committee", and they would change the world, and the battlefield, up until present day.
